I'm still reeling with surprise. At first I wasn't sure where all the extra attention was coming from, and then I finally noticed it.

Needless to say, I am overjoyed as photography is quite a recent experiment for me. And for all the wonderful people who have visited my gallery with all the wonderful comments and favs, I just wanna take this moment to thank all of you. The support and encouragement I get from all of you really made my day and is a definite fuel for my desire to keep experimenting.

And to all the watchers who have been waiting for new vectors, the moment is near

Finally, it is ready!

Well, as ready and presentable as can possibly be.

So, my new site is finally up and running! I wanted something simple and streamlined, and I hope that I've achieved that with how it's presented.

I'm quite happy with it I think.

At the moment, the majority of the site contains my recent photography works, and my illustration work will be added into the gallery piece by piece as time presents itself since I've discovered that it does take quite a bit of work to reformat/resize/repost stuff. It'll all be there eventually though

So there it is. And don't be afraid to shower it with a little love! And of course, any bit of feedback is always welcome

Finally, after ages and ages of delays and procrastionation periods, I am finally about to finish the revamping and complete redesign of my personal website. I hope to get it up and running before the weekend. It's much more simplified than the previous version, and the presentation is much more focused.

Basically I'll be using it as a place to showcase my personal best works and as a platform to link up my current and future projects.

Whoa...

So... dA v5 is here!

Still adjusting to the slight changes. My pattern of loading things, looking at things, visual cues, stuff that my lazy brain got used to. Process readjustment sure gets some getting used to

I like it. But at the same time, it doesn't feel quite "there" yet.



Maybe it's because I'm just not used to the changes yet. Or that the shoutbox looks weird. Or that the usual clickity click of my mouse over familiar button areas have changed.

Ok ok. So aside from those issues, I think it looks pretty. More organized. I definitely LOVE the recent deviations display and the general look of the main user page. I know some people have complained about the larger than life type, but I think it works. Well, maybe there's some consistency issues, but I think it's purdy overall. It has a more "Web 2.0" feel, or whatever the hell that means.



And with anything new, there's bound to be improvements over time right?  Stuff gets tweaked all the time. I know I like tweaking my stuff.



That sounded wrong.

But you get the idea

You know the days when everything seems to be coming full force at you and there's hardly any time to pause and take a breath of fresh air?

Well, right about now I feel like I'm surfing on top of a bullet train and trying my best to balance on top while juggling bowling balls! In a good way of course.

Yes, things have been hella busy for me lately, lots of different projects going on and wishing that I had more time to catch some sleep or just lazy time for myself. I can't really complain though, things have been progressing in good ways and I figure while I still have my reserve of youthful energy, I should spend it wisely

Well, that's it for this entry. Pretty short and succinct.

I apologize profusely to those who have left comments and favs but I have not had a chance to show my thanks to all of you. So I'm taking the opportunity now to do so. A collective thank you to all the kind people out there

It really is a nice feeling to log in here every now and then and see a few wonderful words from some kind souls who took the time to share their thoughts I will try and reciprocate the kindness as best as I can as the time presents itself.

So for awhile I've been wanting to have a vacation somewhere, anywhere really, that took me away from the regularities of the everyday world. And if you give it enough time, you'll get what you wish for!

I spent two days and nights at Genting Highlands, which is basically a place of entertainment with theme parks and casinos and all that, on top of a mountain in Malaysia. The weather was nice and cool, with lots of mist.

It was also a company sponsored trip which was quite awesome. Basic food and lodging necesseties were taken cared of, along with some fun and games. Jenga seemed to be the most popular game while we were resting in our suite.



Took a nice evening walk up the hill to the big indoor entertainment palace located at the top. Parts and pieces of it reminded me of Las Vegas, with plenty of shiny lights and interesting things to look at. When I look up, I see stuff like this.



And of course, the random alien-dinosaur-crashing-car wall of sweetness.



And cool light sculptures like these horses!



There were a bunch of slow leisurely rides that are suspended all over above the main complex, and this family was enjoying their evening in one.



And I never seem to get bored of any type of reflective surface. Care to guess who?



It's been such awhile since I've visited the arcade as well, so I spent some quality time with colleagues there. Here's a friend putting his racing skills to the test.



So I mentioned it was pretty misty right? Well, here's what our evening walk looked like when we went outside.



There were a couple of parks and gardens around the area too, but I couldn't take too many sweeping scenic shots since it was so foggy all over. We did visit this cool little mushroom farm though. Apparently they are grown in bottles!



And then the mushrooms grow out of them like this!



Yes, these are the edible variety.

And then we also checked out some indoor rock climbing.

First you gotta put on the harness.



And then just climb! And try not to fall of course



Or you could spin and spin and spin on the ferris wheel.



Or you could go somewhere else and soar into the sky.



Or fly into the jungle or something if the seat breaks and sends you flying. Ha!

And since it was also World Cup season, there were a lot of festive things going on, for example, this beautiful lady and her grand evening wear!
