Description
My first attempt at creating a stylized vehicle illustration. Once again, I wanted to capture the style of the older vintage posters since I am just so in love with those. The car itself is a 1965 Volvo P1800 sports coupe and some may recognize it from the 60s television series 'The Saint' starring Roger Moore. Also, a few folks might recognize the silhouette figure from an earlier piece of mine. *grin*

Ah, I thought it was a P1800 from the thumb, and I was right!.
I don't know why, but I've loved these since I was a kid. Volvo really hasn't come out with anything as sporty since then... ;_;
I really like this, nice and simple. As a complete and utter detail freak, it's always nice to look at really good simple art; it's very soothing to me, and it's something I've never been able to do.
