an excellent photo, as expected! :) the scene looked as if it was sprung out of a film noir - which immediately made me realize that the background should have been blurred more (the other people, most especially, as to not take the 'spotlight' from your friend!), as to accentuate the vagueness of the situation for your subject (ok, did i make sense? sometimes, my thoughts get the better of me, and my motor skills couldn't keep up! LOL!) - you know, build up the suspense and/or drama, whatever is applicable! but, anyways, for a first-timer in taking portraits, this is a two-thumbs up! keep up the great work! ;)

ahem... anyway, i like the ppl in the background and stuff as they just carelessly go on with their lives as he stares off up in space as if something bad were to happen. great shot ^_^
