Here's another piece from the cafe illustration series that I am being commissioned for. This one will also be mounted on a 3x3 feet board as well. Anyways, hope you guys will like this one too, and a full view is always better on the eyes

awesome work! very cool indeed...
so what medium is this? i have no idea how this kind of look is created! it's so clean and crisp, and i love it. so i want to get into it, but i have no idea how it's done... anyway i was thinking who better to ask than an awesonly talented person like you! please tell...
Hey there thanks very much for the major compliments As for the medium, it's all digital and is created within a vector program. What it all comes down to is basically making shapes and outlines I use a program called Adobe Illustrator, I believe you could check it out straight from their website (www.adobe.com) and download a demo and try it out for yourself It definitely takes awhile to get used to, heck I had one hell of a time in the beginning figuring out how everything worked and what all the tools are used for, but eventually you get the hang of it and it becomes smooth sailing
i'm diggin the color palette.
i'm diggin the use of limited light shapes in the siloetted people in the back
i'm diggin the use of the plant in the lower left for a nice accent to the corner
i'm woderin why the featured person's head overlaps with the ipod system in the back? It seems a little awkward how the ipod system is just obove her head. The pure white ipod system totally jumps out of the this dark palette. And it seems you are trying to bring it back into the composition by having the peron's head just in front of it, but it seems a little awkard. Does this make sense?
