Holy crap! I finally submitted something!

I was in a coffee mood yet again, and I just felt like creating another vintage inspired poster piece. This one just came off the top of my head and begged to be finished. Tada.

Edit: Now available as a coffee mug in the prints store :)

I like it :)

As usual i have a few of my dumb complaints:

1. I think the coffe mug handle could use a more 3D effect. Some gradient usage perhaps?

2. On the top left of the mug there could be some light reflections, that would make it more realistic.

3. The text should have just a vertical gradient. This is too much imo :)

On the other hand i really like the smoke you did. And the patterns are really nice.

+ I think if you would add a vintage texture in photoshop it would mkae tyour works extra sexy and retro :)

I love it. Very nice colors and the text looks really good, too.
My only critiques are:
a)The design on the mug. It might just be personal preference, but I think it looks too busy. Like something you'd see on a wallpaper, not a coffee mug.
b)The steam is too big. I really like the look of it, though.

Many many thanks! :) Yeah, I was a little hestiant about the design on the mug at first, but I sort of went with it after looking at a few photographs of cups and mugs from that time era, and some of them had mega decor on it. So I kind of went for a balance on that. I might still dink around with it. As for the steam.. I just felt like making it big :D
